Education Staff (Academic Advisor)
JOB DESCRIPTION: Academic Advisor For Education Office
 
P.I. Art Center is seeking an energetic and motivated employee to join our education office who can work in Fort Lee NJ.

The ideal candidate will: 
- Be able to work 5 days a week 8 hours a day.
- Have an MFA or BFA with experience in the field of an Art major.
- Have basic skills in drawing & painting.
- Have skills with Word, Excel, Google Docs, Photoshop, Illustrator, and some programs.
- Speak Korean and English with competency.
- Be a team player, problem-solve, and work collaboratively.
- Able to work a non-traditional schedule.
- Able to work on Saturday.
- Able to work in the U.S. legally.

Job scope: Work closely with the team in the office to manage teachers' and students' schedules at the P.I. Art Center Education Department.


Job Responsibilities may include: 

Portfolio prep Student Management
1. Portfolio consultation Assistant
2. scheduling/ study plan
3. School admission consultation Assistant
4. Upload student's work and report

Teacher Management
1. Teacher Scheduling: Private sessions, substitutes, class offers, etc
2. Announcement Emails 
3. Welcome Packet: Teacher Orientation 
4. Teacher data update: CV, contact
5. Making Surveys: meeting headcount, availability check

Class Management
1. Enrollment check: for opening/closing class.
2. Course Evaluation: Data collecting, analyzing, sharing.
3. Student Service: Orbund, Review Session, other supports
4. BSA Test Proctoring

Team Jobs
1. Future semester prep
2. School visits
3. Portfolio Review
4. Teacher Recruiting
5. Opening/closing classes
6. Syllabi Collection/archiving
7. Faculty meeting arrangements

- Multi-task
- Greet and assist visitors
- Answer phones 
- General office work
- Proficient in Computer work (Using the software, Google Office, Microsoft)
- Bilingual Proficient (verbal and written) in English and Korean
